| Simply put,
it's a road map to how I wrote the novel. It's a bit tongue in cheek, and
it's still a work in progress, but I did in part to address the questions
I always got at readings: how did you write a book? How do you? I'm still not so sure about how. But where I can start to answer. Below is a map that I built with the help of Platial.com. It's not a map of locations depicted in the book so much as it is a map of places that were critical to my writing the book, which range from a suburban chain coffee shop to a gold miners' bar outside Fairbanks, Alaska.
